Cookie statement.
upMention uses cookies and similar technologies to keep this website working and to understand how it is used. We do this as transparently as possible: you decide which non-essential cookies you accept.
What happens now
When the page loads we initialise Google Consent Mode v2. This means the categories ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization default to denied. Google Tag Manager loads, but analytics and marketing cookies are only set after you grant consent via the banner.
Cookie categories
1. Necessary
These cookies are required for the site to function. We also store your consent choice in your browser’s local storage under the name upm_consent_v1, so the banner does not appear every time you visit.
2. Analytics
After consent, we can use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to see anonymously how many visitors there are, which pages are viewed and how people navigate the site. These cookies are only set once you have given consent.
3. Marketing and personalisation
This category is reserved for advertising and personalisation purposes. In Consent Mode storage is also denied by default. Only after explicit consent can data be processed for, for example, remarketing or audience building.
Pageviews inside the site
Because this is a single-page application, we push a pageview event to the dataLayer on every internal navigation. This lets us measure usage per page without fully reloading the page. It is only used for the analytics processing you have consented to.
Change or withdraw your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Using the button below clears your stored preference and reloads the page, so the banner appears again.
